Subject: How long to wait ...
Dear Frumma,

I just started meeting others on dating sites. How long do you think I should correspond with another before giving my phone number or meeting them?

Chani

Chani, honey,

WHY ARE YOU ON A SITE OTHER THEN THE BEST ONE - THIS ONE???? Sheesh. Okay, so in today's day and age, a girl can't be too cautious. For all you know the guy with the display name UrMomWillLoveMe is the Son of Sam. I think after the back and forth on AIM, the progression is moving on to the phone.( I would ask HIM for his digits, so that i can *67 him, just in case the following will occur). After aboutt. 2-3 conversations, If he doesn't seem to have Turret's Syndrome, and he doesn't ask you in a creepy voice, "What are you wearing, Chani?", you should meet him in a well lit, public area, preferably during the day. (Well Lit=Sun). If you want to be extra cautious, there are some that ask for a reference from the dude - a friend, ex-roommate, ex-cellmate...If it gets to that, that is. Good Luck, and remember - Its better to be overly cautious than sorry. Oh, heck. "Its better to be safe than sorry".

Have a great time, and remember, there's always a chance he may be a she,

Frumma
