Subject: Meeting new people
Dear Frumma,

I seem to meet more good people through friends than online or elsewhere, but I just don't meet enough of them. How do I meet more good people?

Frustrated Frummie

Dear Frustrated,

You can find and make a lot of good friends if you use the invite feature on this site to invite your friends, and they in turn invite their friends. This will result in the site growing with members like yourself and with similar age, hashkafah, and observance. Sometimes it isn't obvious how easy it is to make the site really work for you, all it needs is a little push from you.

Also a shabbos meal with friends is a good place to meet people. There are also some Chinese Auctions that act as semi-singles events that are good places to meet people too.(And its for a good cause.) A party you hear about thats happening Chanuka, or Purim time, is great. There are plenty of sites that post events, as well as newspapers. The Jewish Press has a column per week with events listed months ahead of time. Enjoy, and good luck!!!

Friendly Frumma
